HOUSING
We identify units for newly arrived immigrant families, connect with property owners, and advocate for free/reduced housing costs
LEGAL SERVICES
We connect refugees and asylees in need of legal services with with pro-bono lawyers to assist families with settlement
JOB READINESS
We provide access to job certification and referral, job application, and job interview preparation
CARES works to provide technical assistance to other organizations on know-your rights and other issues affecting the immigrant community. Our aim is to increase the knowledge base of immigrants pertaining to their integration through programs such as English classes, computer literacy, and certifications. We work with local organizations, educators, and families to identify priorities through community engagement and empower families to foster community partnership. Our proactive outreach to city county offices help provide immigrants with access to available resources and play an integral part in active development of crucial inclusion programs.
